Tieffels

So went for a "fitting" for 650B wheelset on my Giant XTC this morning and all looks good, its a little tight, but the back tyre was a 2.4 so with a 2.2 it will be perfect.

Nothing crappy on this bike. Nice colour Giant Billy Rae. What Fox Fork is that, a 26er, model?

Hi Caerus

Is your XTC a 26" frame?

Will 650b work with a giant trance? Forks are 5 inches of travel?

No room at the back I'm afraid, my other bike is a Trance.

Is it just me or are there more and more 29er riders that's starting to talk 650B? If you are one of them, please share. I'm going over to Canada and the States next year and I may or may not come back with some new toys.

I'd like another longer travel (approx 130mm) trail bike to go with my 29" hardtail so, yes - 650B is enticing.

Made the change already. Loving it

Far prefer the steep technical climbing on a 650b. Seem to have to work too hard on the hills on a 29er.

29er is definately faster on the flat stuff, but overall I feel better on the 650b

What I really want is a Santa Cruz Blur LT 650B

Pity they have no plans to make any...
