A Pomp is a Pomp ou Pel

Nooit!

Dont believe it.

I got a Giant pomp from SW, and it worked exactly once...

But apart from quality, I found a pomp that has worked flawlessly since I got it, and is wider so has a bigger volume for less pomping of big MTB tires.

Only about R500, and I use it before I ride.

Bombs I take with for on the ride.

Get a converter for your presta valves to shraeder. The presta valves are going to bend and break at some stage if you use a hand pump.

co2 bombs are great to have as a backup carry atleast 2. Especially if you have tubeless wheels. But you still need a good pump in your camelback as well!

a good pump in your camelback as well!

Now, that I'd like to see,

@OP, specify, one to carry with you on the bike, or a floor pump for home use?

Had a cheap Giant one, had a more expensive Topeak one, both were crap. Topeak one is laying in the veld somewhere in the Magalies area after it became airborne...!

Now I just ride with 3 bombs. Then again I have those thornproof tubes and tyre liners and never (touch wood) get a puncture.

i have 2 floor pumps for home use and carry 1 small bike pump and 2 bombs when out cycling.

Quick sales pitch, in Ride Mag i see for 94.7 expo Solomons are selling 10 16g bombs for R100.

If you like bombs then get:

Lezyne Road Drive CFH - road pump with bombs http://www.lezyne.co...!road-drive-cfh

Wasting your time looking at anything else.

Lezyne Alloy Drive pump - best carry-on pump I've used. It's very easy to use and works 100% every time!
