Race done. Some very hard climbing the last 2 days. Around 1,500m each day and very steep in places. Overall race experience was fantastic. Bleeding from the eyes up the climbs and crying with delight on the fantastic single track coming down.

However, Sabie needs to wake up. It won town of the year, not sure how. Maybe the other contenders were Baghdad & Mogadishu. Hotels are expensive, which is fine but jeez the service and food is poor. Saying that I'll be back in Feb for MTN series.

Do it again? Definitely but will stay in self catering accommodation.

Where did you stay?

Top class event. Very impressed with the organisors and the race in general.

Legs are blown from the single speeding, but the body is more buggered from the rigid fork.

My legs are slowly starting to get feeling back again. Well done to the 4 day riders, I just can't see myself going through that. Day 1 was absolutely awesome, day 2 nearly killed me.

Was uber fun though!! Even got some medals (lolwhat?) out of it.

What an amazing race.

Loved every minute of it. My body not so much.

Day 4 killed me. I hurt all the way through the stage but the route was amazing.

Well done to the organizers. The event was perfectally manage.

One small issue i had is that the prize giving just took too long with all the categories for the lite ride.

Other than that perfect.

Well done to the organisers clap.gif clap.gif

I have to agree with the service. On the most part it was not good, will also do self catering next time.

Well done to everyone - especially the single speed guys w00t.gif

Does anyone know when the photos will be up and where we could get a copy of the Big foot video footage??

The boys from the Cape had a fab 4 days of riding :-) thank the good lord for keeping the heavy rains away while we was riding....

If Action photo's take as long as they do with the Argus, we might get to see the pix's next week....

Well done to all who rode it, it was great chatting away to guys on route

Some pics I took on the route. Since I no longer race, I can enjoy the scenery a bit more :-)
