All over the HT big travel bikes... Nice Hairy.

Whats the general consensus on these type of bikes for Enduro? Probably less forgiving than a dual, skills need to be good. But must be light and playful!

Opinions?

How our world champ describes enduro:

Greg Minnaar@GregMinnaar25m

@KevinMcCallum Enduro being thrown about to often now days. All it is, is Gnarly XC ... Been riding it for years. #GXC

I agree 100%. If you look at national standard XCO courses, many of the obstacles are very difficult, and probably just as difficult as on most Enduros, however in an Enduro you hit them at speed, because it is mostly downhill.

The problem in SA is the infatuation with distance and vertical ascent, that exhilarating and technical sections are forgotten. For this reason I am very glad that Enduro is gaining momentum, because gnarly XC is what I love!!

We've reached a junction.. AM has been a riding style for many years while Enduro is the event based on that skillset.

I think why there is all this hype is because we finally have a mainstream event around the everyday local trail that you or i would normally be riding.. shredding! It is also a place where the 'XC elites' don't have an advantage unless they come from a DH background.

It's always a sad thought, but Burry would have a contender!

Well I am thinking of simplifying life by selling the Shova and the SS for a long travel HT ... thinking being the operative word here!
