Hi guys, looking for some advice.

We purchased a frame about a year ago and it is a branded S-Works frame.

Lovely ride and truly stiff as nails.

My brother however wants to sell the frame as he has other responsibilities at the moment.

Selling it as a S-works is illegal tho, what can we do?

Any advice appreciated.

PS. we know, next time we wont buy a branded frame to start with.

Hongfu are reputable as a supplier. I haven't tried out their wheels so i can't say! But they are awesome to deal with! And if you have any issues will gladly assist.

I have the Hong-Fu UAM range of wide rims.  I got the 56 back, 40 fron and find them absolutely fantastic.

Using the Specialised 25mm tyres which feel very good, low rolling resistance and very comfortable ride.

for all the potholes ... thats the only reason i havent joined the carbon wheel club yet! Dont want to see 7K crack on a road that should be nicely surfaced.

I had a lovely experience that showed me the strength of Chinese carbon wheels.

I ride flyxii 2m wide, 38mm deep wheels. 25mm gatorskins. I weigh 110kgs. Going downhill 3 weeks ago, I hit a pothole. Hard. Doing 65kph, I thought for sure, after the noises generated, that I must have bust the rim. At least definitely popped the tube. But after frantically slowin down to avoid comin off with a flat front wheel, I saw absolutely no damage. Not even a scratch. The handlebars had turned themselves in te stem, but wheels were absolutely perfect. Not even out of true or anything.

These things are bombproof after that hit. I've broken Alu wheels on far smaller hits.

Love these wheels.

Here are the pictures of my Hongfu UAM wide clincher wheels with CHOSEN hubs and CX-Ray spokes.

Fitted them now with SCHWALBE ULTREMO R1 tyres.  Looking forward to using them for my next race.

Much narrower than the Specialised 25mm I was using in the past so will be a different ride quality I am sure.

How Easy is it to buy from them and iff I may ask how much were they?

More carbon wheels from www.xmcarbonspeed.com, the hub have Novatec, DT Swiss, Bitex etc options, and with Sapim cx-ray/cx-delta series spokes/nipples. it is high-profile wheelset in china now.

Hi All.

I decided to explore this whole imported Chinese carbon frame possibility.

I have a copy of a famous Italian bicycle, which I had custom sprayed a certain colour.

Custom stickers were made up to resemble a 50's era Italian classic.

Reason for this, its a dedication to my dad, who couldn't afford this type of bike when he needed it.

I have personalised signatures and serial number.

Once applied, I had a high gloss clear coat over the top.

Busy testing now, whether it lives up to my expectation.

Will let you know, after I have completed a few tough high profile races. :P

Question for all the guys that have built up a 29er dual sus:  FM036 / IP036

What front derailleur did you use (assuming you didn't go 1 x 1x)?

I currently have SRAM x9 low direct mount bottom pull installed.  (The whole gruppo is 2x10 X9 - with 39/26 up front).

The tolerances seem too tight and I suspect when the frame compresses it is either going to catch the top of the chain ring or the rear chain stay?

What did you guys use?
