Ah right, that was implied, I've got the setup mostly sorted, I was talking about now getting myself quick enough!

you go into a rocky section you've done before expecting the usual bouncing and uncontrolled-ness but the bike stays planted, making you feel like a clown for going in so slowly!

pretty much the same experience when I first started riding the Transition. The thing feels like you could chuck it whichever way and get away with sheer stupidity.

My new Radon Swoop 170.

I Love my old specialized enduro but it was time to move on, I wanted to try something different and this is what I managed to come up with!

To be honest I'm quite struggling with the recalibration this bike requires, because wow is this bike fast.

Damn, I could take my eyes off that yesterday.

I built my Knolly Warden Carbon up in September so thought I'd show and tell a bit as haven't been on here in a while...

...

Some pics of the build:

Looks really good, the Joystick kit also tickles my fancy ... ALOT!

Gawd damn. So hot!  This bike is everywhere I look. It must be a sign.

Did you opt for the 2X11 version that has a 2X (obviously) and the Monarch Plus as opposed to the Vivid Air? I'm leaning to the 1X11 version with the Vivid.

there was only 1 single, solitary reason i went for the 2x over the 1x and that was size, im quite tall and while the large was long enough, i was worried the seat tube wouldnt be... and the 1x didnt have the XL in stock. I even emailed radon to ask if they could move the parts across and sell me a 1x model, its cheaper and I think, better.

Aaah yeah!! You made it happen. Kief.

We should chase each other down a mountain again soon. This time I'll bring my gun to the gunfight.

Never a truer word spoken. I'm in that position now...

It's not rider re-calibration you need.....  it's brass dangly bits.....

I need to get rid of my current saefguard system. My self preservation system is in full swing, still. And it's abnormally low. I KNOW I can do things, and I KNOW I can ride semi fast. But when it comes to it... computer says nooooo.

The problem with capable bikes is that they will gladly allow you to kill yourself.

Final question on that sick ride of yours.

Have you noticed any flex where the seatstays connect to the rocker? It's the only thing that has bothered me, as that doesn't seem to be the burliest of interfaces.
