never understood why someone would voluntarily ride a hardtail down a rocky, bumpy, gnarly single track?

 

 

cause its fun

 

and it is even more fun if you are riding a LTHT as SS .. I miss this bike

I made the mistake of going on the On one website and clicking on that 650b Codine frame. Somehow they have a large in stock. £600 without a shock. Man I wish I did not do that. I have to many other money pits to fill before that can become a reality.

#JustSaying ... I have a RS Monarch RT3 shock with a 200x57mm stroke .... which is exactly what the Codine frame takes and I will be selling this soon.

 

It came new on my Banshee, and according to Strava has only got 34.5hrs of riding on her ... condition I would say is excellent.

Hahahaha! Stopit ek sê. Stupid holidays have wrecked my bike budget. I’ll have to hope they have it in August or then I will start saving for that Silverback. Although THIS is what my heart desires.

After a long wait and a few parts changed out, she only needs a hose trim (for now).

 

2018 Kona Process 153 AL 27,5

 

Parts changed out:

 

Brakes: SRAM Level T's off, Shimano XT M8000's on.

Stem: Kona 35, 50mm off, Renthal apex35 33mm on.

Bar: Kona 35 off, Renthal Fatbar35 Alu on.

Grips: Kona grips off, DMR death grips on. 

Front tyre: Maxxis DHF EXO 2,5" off, Spez Butcher grid 2.8" on.

Rear tyre: Maxxis DHF EXO 2,3" off, Spez Butcher grid 2.6" on.

Shock: RS Monarch Deluxe RT off, RS Monarch Super Deluxe RCT on.

Pedals: DMR Vault.

Bits: One up EDC multi tool.

 

Fork upgrades to follow:

 

SKF low friction seals.

170mm Debonair air spring.
