Jens's blog about d'Huez

Interesting

"I would also like to say that even though I was in the front group today, in my opinion the Col de Sarenne is just the stupidest descent that I have done in my career. It is more or less a goat path. And even for the goats it is dangerous! You don’t ride down that descent, you jump and bump down it."

Froome's legs sure are Pom white.

They penalised him for feeding from the car even though he technically got around the prohibition by sending Porte. If had eaten out of his pocket he would have been fine.

He ate from Porte's pocket.

Porte went back to the car, took the food and stuck it in his back pocket.

It was very clear on TV how Porte reached into his back pocket and handed Froome a bar/gel.

What doesn't pay rent ,must come out.

Clearly Froomie made a mistake and paid dearly for it, not just from a bonking perspective but also bad publicity.

I am sure he won't make the same mistake again.

occams razor dude.

either he's a unique freak of nature and is just naturally 10% more gifted than any other cyclist on the planet (I've heard that before), or the simplest explanation is that he's cheating.

dont be a naive fool

whats your point? the fact that his 20 min power is higher than armstrong and lemond just indicates even stronger that he's doping

So even though armstrong was doped to the gills, you reckon froome is clean and stronger?

whats the chances

I wish that the guys riding the TdF would wear GoPro's for added viewing pleasure.

I was thinking the same yesterday. Imagine we had live on-board footage of that decent yesterday! or even going up the Alpe as the crouds part!

They got to intro that in the next few years...
