So, both Iron Fist and Luke Cage have been given the axe by Netflix after two (let's be honest) miserable seasons. 

 

The question now is whether Disney is planning on reviving these series on their own streaming service.

Much of the superhero adaptations these days are aimed at audiences who enjoyed the original stuff as kids. Many having neo-noir themes, others gritty and some perhaps even borderline macabre. But somehow along the way. Some of them just end up being emo, arcade and juvenile. 

 

Reminds me of what Michael Bay did to TMNT. I guess I should watch it before I judge.

I'm LOVING it. Wish all the franchises had the writers & directors from DD and Punisher. Soooo much scope for better writing and directing.

Was wondering the same. The plot of S02 was paper thin, to say the least. 

 

I'd be surpised if DD and JJ get a 4^th and 3^rd season respectively. Same for another season of The Punisher. 

 

Should that be the case, it'll be interesting to see if the Netflix universe acknowledges 'The Snap'.
