Just seems weird a CAAD series bike being used as a commuter.Its a 1988 Criterium series frame, before the old 2.8 series, long before CAAD was even thought about.I got the frame from a club mate, restored it to original with original Decals from the USA.At the moment I don't have a period correct group set for it, so I made it a SS.I used it for work and back, but now I only ride it on weekends along the beach front.Its a ridiculously stiff frame, years ahead of any bike from that era. Not a bike you would want to ride for more than 50 or 60km's. It came out with a Suntour groupset, Black and gold, not easy to come across.

Andymann Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Still one of the nicest bikes I have ever owned! Sadly the FD mount developed a small crack so I had to retire it. I did donate it to build-a-bike though, so hopefully there was someone who was able to repair the crack and it's making some new owner happy.
