You are clearly missing the point or have no idea what those bands around some cyclist arms mean.

In the 80's there was not the amount of kit that is available now.I had a jersey that had the stripes on and wore it without any remorse about the earning of the stripes. Many did.You could buy Southern Sun cycling kit and again many did but we did not ride for Alan's team...relax and stop making a fuss about nothing

BTW "Bosch" stands for Rondebosch Boys High so why are you wearing that??

Somebody mentioned ASSOS

I won't be surprised if it is Adidas again. They are making a big push into cycling apparel again.

ITO amabubesi available to anyone, seriously uncool. At least they could have offered it to real Amabubesi members at cost to get rid of it.

High stock levels reak of bad planning.

I am not saying dont buy replica team kit!

Everyone wants to look like the pro's or support a brand and I am totally cool with dat.

But those athletes that has won Worlds are allowed to wear those stripes ... instead of a medal around their necks ... for the rest of their lives.

So leave it to them!

I ask again, will you buy an Olimpic Gold Medal replica and hang it in your bar? And what exactly will you tell your friends about it!

Oh and I did not know or seem to find anything that "Bosch" was trademarked by Boys High. I ride in the Bosch of Stellenbosch baby!

It's what happens when people just don't get what others are on about.

Wear all the replica kit in the world as one pleases, go ahead be my guest.

Rant on

It's only the fun riders that take so much pride and prestige over finishing the epic... I think everyone should just get over themselves. It's not like epic is selling medals. It's like team sky selling there team kit to the public, no one in sky team gives a sh*t...

People have such a sense of entitlement. If some fat punk feels he wants to look rich and fit, he can go buy himself a amabubesi jersey...

You don't see TDF finishers finishing mid pack crying about TDF merchandise up for sale. It's ridiculous... Now, jump off your high saddle, peel off that epic sticker from a couple of months ago and enjoy your bike, your ego is ruining it for you.

Yeah, you are 100 % correct.

But I encourage you like some others here to read what the real gripe is about instead of whipping your patronizing dick out.

@Skinnysweatyman, will you buy an Olympic Gold Medal replica to hang in you bar?

I know I wouldn't, but don't now go and start a fight about houses with bars as features....

Nah don't agree, I've been using the MCC tie I bought on ebay to get me into Newlands members for the last two seasons. Match it with a clipped british accent, a 'i'm just in town on business and wondered if anyone could return a favour' and you're relaxing in comfort and looking at the general public growing pinker by the second while sipping on G&Ts.

;)

meh, I'm calling bullsh1t here. no one goes to watch cricket these days.
