And have no benefit whatsoever...

ROFL. Buy some better niner wheels. And just why do you want the nukeproofs, specifically?

Because 27.5" or 650B is the "New Black" dude.

You can also cut off your fingers if your arse itches. That way you won't have stinky fingers.

Must say, you will gain some very nice mud clearance and changing the rear shock, you could go from a say 100mm to possibly 120mm travel suspension in the rear. Also watch your chainstay design. Some designers have a narrowing (right there where the 650b tire will be) before opening up to the tire close to the downtube.

My opinion:

1. Leave the bike just like that.

2. If getting those 650b wheels so badly that you would suffer from depression if you don't get them, sell your 29" frame and wheels, get a 650b frame and those wheels, or just sell the entire 29er and get a 650b.

Hi all

Thx for the feedback

I merely looked at this option as I can't get the rims I want for my bike in 29".............I want white or yellow rims.

White I gave up on as only ZTR manufactures them.......American Classic used to but don't for 2013...........DT Swiss is pretty much the same.....and the rest of the guys dont do it period.

So NO.......it was more a question to see if it's viable, which it aint as I dont want to sell my Lefty, not after everything I have done thus on her :)

Just really wish I could get a set of white 29'r rims............

Why not buy rims, paint white and get that guy on the hub to make you new stickers?

NotSoBigBen......it's all about the detail hey :)

First time ever that I have struggled locally to get what I want for my bike.......so it's become a bit of a quest really :)

And then I saw those Nukeproof yellow rims which is totally different......and started "toying" with the idea
