Tumbleweed Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 In the '80s we used to judge the height of a hop with the amount of bricks you could jump over. Much like wheelies where judged by lampposts. doppelganger 1

RocknRolla Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 the most difficult part is finding a bunny that does not scatter when i try to hop it....they seem to be intimidated by the big bikes.
DoubleDee Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I remember bunny hopping over 8 bricks high on my BMX in the 80's. The highest I managed to bunny hop on my MTB was over one of those big steel barrels on its side! Bunny hopping on a hard tail or rigid fork bike is easier in my opinion! Tumbleweed 1

Skott5 Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 We used to bunny hop over each other and go for distance more than height.I think I did about 7 of my mates lying side by side on their backs, covering their ball bags with their hands - ja right, like that's going to help when you land it wrong
Reden Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 My first bunny hop at speed ended in disaster.Hopped too soon and front wheel landed in the rut.Went over and broke my helmet. Not to mention the skid marks (gravel burns) on my legs. There were another one but that I could wash!!!
