I'll agree with you there.. such fun to drive! Never should have sold mine.

Edit. Not as fun as my mini was though. 1275e with a gts motor bored out to 1310cc. Hepalite pistons, fully balanced and with a 276 Cam. Even bought a 40DCOE for it before I sold it to fund my ticket to the UK.

That thing was fun. Such fun.

Very fun to drive, thought I was a Rally driver sometimes in that Golf, lol.

My sister had a mini as her first car, just a standard one though - and I remember when she used to take me to school in the mornings. She would be doing 80km/h and it would feel like we were doing 120.

I remember when these were launched... 96kw apparently. My mates brother bought one.

I also had a citi golf, old school 1.8 citi sport + Vat. All i can say is that 96kw was a very slow 96kw, I literally stayed in 4th gear messing with his "new, better, faster" mk1. Ok granted mine made 106wkw and 190nm but still..

AWD Audi that's only AWD in an emergency situation.

Bit of a marketing ploy calling it a Quattro.

As is mosrt "AWD" cars today. Power goes to the front wheels most of the time, till power is needed at the other wheels.
