I think that's the crux of the matter. Marc was hot into the corner, I think anyone can accept that. But it's the first turn of the first lap, and it's Marc Marquez, what do you expect. Jorge took the decision to try and ride around the outside of Marc, instead of cutting to the inside and nearly launched himself into orbit. The one situation led to the other, unfortunately Jorge made the wrong choice. I guess it can be argued that if Marc hadn't divebombed the **** out of Jorge, the crash never would have happened. Oh well.

You see, when you speak sense we agree ;)

I’m fortunate to have over a decade of racing experience behind me and I can tell you, the outside of turn one lap one is not the place to be. Very few gifts are available out there. Lorenzo put himself on the outside. He must accept his mistake.

Agree,

Just because Jorge was on on pole doesn't give him the monopoly of turn 1's apex. Marc did not dive bomb him. Lorenzo chose the sweeping outside line as per the race line and didn't cover off the inside so when he wanted to tip in he found Marc there. Simple as that.

He then chose to do what he did and fall on on his own.........

MM certainly didn’t “dive bomb” him. But he did run it deep, he even exceeded the track limit on the exit, so MM too made a mistake. But didn’t mean to push JL wide.

JL left a massive gap between him and MM, probably due to MMS reputation, but agin that was a JL choice.

So, not blaming MM at all, but to say he didn’t overcook it, which contributed to the track position of JL also isn’t right.
