Some suggestions to make the race safer next year:

Full face helmets compulsory.

Body armour compulsory.

Speed limit enforced on fast descent after greek church.

All trees wrapped with padding.

Local schoolchildren to remove all rocks on satelitte descent.

Navy divers on standby with rubber dingy at floating bridge.

Halfway check-out with clock stopped to allow recovery.

No beer will be sold after the race.

All riders to wear hi-viz jackets and flashing lights on helmets.

HR check at top of strips.

Riders too far back at start of church climb may proceed straight down dirt road to finish.

You're welcome

For the daredevils - go do Hakahana, its much easier than VG but still fun.

For the health and safety obsessed - clock in at Cornwall for the last race in the series. Its flat and fast.

A speed trap at the bottom of the church descent would be more fun *adds another category to try win*

Beer available at the last tech water point to make you forget about jou bliksem, and increase chances of winning category in point 1.

HR check, if it's not high enough, send you back down to try harder?

:D

I'll put the blame on a slipping freebody during the enthusiastic overtake... :D

Biggest section of the thread gone, now we are sitting on 800 posts (somewhere near the Greek church). The final "Jou Blixem" 200 posts and we hit a marathon 1000 posts. Now for some creative hubbers to show their remarkable talent and skill......
