Some questions: If the wind is strong, does it tend to split bunches? Are there more breakaways? I have a work colleague who is based in CT, doing the Argus for the first time. I'd like to maybe to a second lap with him. Time should not be a problem as he is starting in OC. Are second laps allowed? walkerr Posted February 13, 2014 Share If I get tempted to stress over my seeding I just think on my 1st Argus in 2008 - start at 10am in OL, and just barely managed to squeak over the line before 3pm. I was delighted, with almost no experience or training a sub 5 was way more than I expected. Now I get to start around 7am, and barring mishaps should be drinking that first beer well before midday.
