 Wow, there must be some magical powers in Lycra and 29" bikes by the look of things :

Take a mild mannered upstanding human being, squeeze him into a lycra bib and throw him onto a 29'er, and he's magically transformed into a child-scaring, trail ripping, rule busting, couldn't care less maniac; that's just amazing. What kind of wild animal would we get if an ill mannered tjop was to wear lycra and ride a 29'er ??? Godzilla would cringe... Gotta get me some lycra and a 29'er; I've been missing out on some exciting stuff.... :whistling:

Just like guns don't kill people, lycra and 29'ers don't make idiots; they're just like that naturally. Delusions of grandeur and disregard for other people come from bad breeding and bad manners; simple as that.

Dude, your generalisations won't get you far. From your post it seems you have a bigger problem with people unlike yourself than trying to find common ground and realising that we all love cycling.

Edit: Or I misread your post and you have the same feeling as me. Then I apologise.

Long travel, rigid, lycra, baggies, full face helmet, no helmet. DH, XC, strava, funrider....

Ye all have one thing in common

The rest of the world see's you as mountain bikers, so when one or 2 ride like idjits we are all considered to be idjits

Some of the funniest bull**** in a long time, proving that the asshole factor isn't restricted to any particular type. It's an even score ;)

Luckily still the minority, in the context of the issue. Most MTBrs are still the coolest people I know.

:D Just taking the p....

No issues; I just saw the funny side of those who categorise another rider by his pant and his bike, that's all.

No apology necessary, but thanks anyway. I think we may be on the same page.

Amazing how much people fight over their own spot of $h!t to ride in...

Next is a dick or tit swinging contest at the scout hall before one can proceed

Sorry, let me correct that.

If you stay on the general Spruit trail, No you don't need any balls, at all.

If you branch off the main line every now and then to ride the play lines (the way they are built to be ridden) yes you need some balls, not big ones but a small growth is required.

That being said, yesterday I rode with a Lady who proved she had bigger balls than 99.9% of the Spruit users, and yes she was on a 29"

ahhh ok, I only know about the jump lines(dhl and scouts hall), some gap jump lines, the willow and the dam benches....they are all fun. tend to do them over and over a couple of times.

PS how are they supposed to be ridden...them play line you are referring to

Why do I get this feeling you are really trying to show us that you are being far superior to anyone who rides for pure pleasure ?

Seems like the River Rats need validation.

I will go first.

You guys are so RAD and hardcore
