I see all the CT cyclist have gone very quiet about doing a protest ride ??

I think a protest ride is a must.

Besides the fact that he beat on her and carried on like a hungry dog that had his bone taken from him.

The real urgency of the matter is the fact that he skipped the stop, if she was there a second sooner or perhaps less alert, the situation could have been worse.

At the risk of incurring the wrath of "the manne" - it looks like he didn't actually hit her. Spit in her face and man handled her but didn't the original oke say that he hit his wife in the face? The newspaper article only says spat and manhandled her.

It doesn't change the fact that this oke has a few anger issues but there is a large difference bwteen "beating her up" and "manhandling her".

The newspaper article says he hit her arms to break her grip on the bike.

Spoke to Elizabeth @ PPA. If we can supply her with a "proposed plan of action" on the day, she can forward it to the PPA Management and get them involved.

Anybody that can ascertain an approximate time his case will be heard? As it is a first appearance, it probably will be postponed to a later date, and these postponement cases is normaly heard early in the day.

Any suggestions as to how "we" can arrange this official Cyclist Protest?

Can mail the details to her @ liz@pedalpower.org.za
