Spoke to Momsen in PE today.

 

They will launch a small Vipa 29'r frame size.

 

The 650B will be a standalone size and no longer the small size in the range.

 

Expected to be in SA in November.

Iwan, what is the PE number, bit blurred so can't see it clearly.

Keen on a demo ride but worried it will spoil my current ride as I can't really afford a VIPA right now but would love to feel what it is like. Would also be my first DS ride.

I would appreciate your input. Following your Vipa build from the beginning. I like to Vipa,can get a Vipa with budget build,affraid it will not do the bike justice,would like to hear what you think?

X7 front derailleur

X7 shifters

Avid elixir 3 brakes

Ztr arch rim with X9 hubs

PG 1030 casette

Momsen finishing kit, doubt the nice carbon bar and downer stem

I have no idea what the bike will weight, hoping for below 12kg
