I was so super impressed with the organization of this race:

Getting into the venue could have been a traff@#$, but all the marshalls meant it went quickly.

Marshalls on the course were also very good. Nice route avoided much traffic.

Just the wind...

This year everything was well organised. Well done to everyone. BUT THE WIND!!!!

Agree. Race well organised, and Marshall's were good.

Think wind also wanted to show its presence?

Avoided the nasty crash in AL, hope the guys are okay! but overall a good day out.. 2:35 for me!

I was caught behind this crash couple of nervous moments even before this crash with the bunch suddenly braking for sweet blue nothing, what are the okes upfront doing at that stage? Braking and accelerating trying to break the bunch is just plain stupid....anycase was a solo rider to the finish in a time of 2h41 not to happy about this but **** happens

Speaking Of Accidents... The Car Crash on The R59... Silver BMW driving at high speed into oncoming traffic ... Almost took out a few of our team-mates. Sadly, The Corsa he did hit belonged to our Club , One member In ICU... The other was a fatality :( ... we only found out after the Race . If anyone by any chance has the registration no of the Silver bmw, we would appreciate it. (Thanks, Team ESMERO ) ... Condolences to the family

So sorry to hear. I almost got taken out by this same car. Almost flipped my car to get out of his way as he was aproaching at high speed in the wrong direction, unfortunately could not get the reg number was to fast and pitch dark at the time. Condolences to the family.

got popped by laaities at 70km....this after burning a box of lion matches catching the bunch again at 50km because 2 okes just sat up when someone someone upfront attacked.

2:43....could have been worse.
