A dumb Idiot Mozambiquen Driver skipped a Robot when my wife was turning, and hit my Boot, Bikerack and Bike.

Bike cost me - R7300, Bikerack Total Write-off - R5000 and my Car is R20000.

Almost Slept the Night in Jail because i almost Hit the guy, and sweat at the Racist Police, because as they Put it, my wife should have looked where she was driving....

Hit a pothole on my vintage Bianchi eros chromoly frame. Bike looked like a wheelchair post fall. Had bought the bike for about 5k. Was lucky no serious injuries as I somersaulted several times before landing on my back.

Hi

Racing with friends around de waal drive with its fantastic sweeping bends, leaning deep in a bIind bend with knee almost on tar as I I accelerate to get traction out the bend to my horror I see a guy 3m from his stuck 1986 cortina in the fast lane trying to warn motorists but for me it was way too late so my 2 month old 2008 Yamaha r6 knocks into the back of the car spinning head over tail eventually landing on the subframe and swing arm crushing both in the process, me for a few seconds flying thru the air thinking am I a bird, am I a plane no I'm not superman as I came crashing down on the tar an instinctive roll and protective gear, I walked away with a bruised ego and a written off 85k R6, whenever I recall the moment I get shivers down my spine as it could have been been much worse.

Surgeons don't call bikers 'organ donors' for nothing..

Overshot a jump. Cos me (personally) approx 10k in bills (medical air shortfall etc). It also cost me my last 3 days of riding in the Alps.

Bike was perfectly fine

Posted (edited)

I sent an email to my insurance company with a list of hypothetical situations and asked them to state next to each one if they would cover it, all came back yes, so hey.....

Edit:

Definitely keeping it for record!!

Accommodation for argus flight, car rental, and sani,3towers

Medical bills, MRI physio,chiro BRACES,

December holidays planned around trails,
