After the 9th puncture in 2 weeks on my Kenda tyres with tubes, I finally decided to put my snakeskin tyres on which i got for christmas (From me to me). As expected i was super excited to test them out and after 37km into my first ride I get a nail through my brand new racing Ralph.

So share your hatred for Murphy here

No, I had tubes in my kenda tyres as I hadn't put the tubeless on yet

so then it's NOT murphy!! It's YOUR OWN STUPIDITY!! :cursing: :cursing: :cursing:

Don't blame poor Murphy - he's a lot of other REAL work to do...

no sympathy for the tubed

5000km no puncture. Case Closed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed, dont blame poor Murphy. Get some Stans.

Hey Scott. Organise a date and I'll come help you do the conversion. I got spare Stan's and gorilla tape.

Uncle Stan is waiting to help you.

Maybe i didn't express this correctly, i dont blame Murphy for the 9 puncture on my Kenda's with tubes, on Friday i toke my bike in for a service and they did the conversion on my tubless with stans and rim tape etc, 37km's after that i got steel nail through my brand new tubless snakeskin evo tyre. I blame Murphy for that!!!

If uncle Stan doesn't seal it, put a plug in and forget about it......

Yeah i toke it back to reitvlei's cycle hub as they were the one's who put it on for me and Graham was kind enough to put a plug in for me. Its all sealed now again, still not nice have a plug in the center of a tyre thats only done 37km on, but that how life goes i guess.

C'est la vie (which is pretentious French for Murphy), but get yourself a small plug kit for you roadside repairs.

If you hit a puncture that does not seal, pop a plug in and if you are quick enough you wont even have to add pressure. else a quick pomp should solve it. I have a plug in a tyre that has been there for 2000 km. No worries.
