Hi Canadonis

I. for one, am pretty sure nobody will victimise MCC members, most certainly not physically. I even doubt whether more than a handful of riders out of the 40 odd thousand Argus riders will recognise MCC kit and say anything.

Personally, I think wearing your kit and showing everyone how well you can behave, is better than hiding from view, but that is just me. You have to do what is right for you.

If it will help, after the quick and decisive response from MCC, as reported earlier, I will speak up if I see anyone victimising your members, especially the young riders.

Have a great Argus!

Thanks for the support, have a great ride Tom, be safe out there.

I agree with "DJR". Besides I cannot tell the difference between the "Esmero Kit" and MCC when out cycling.

Wear your Kit proudly and be safe out there 2mrw.

I dunno what was up this week, But alot of people just seem that extra bit agro! Besides what happened sun and with the cops beating that dude, we dealt with alot of angry and verbally abusive people this week. Must be darwin week or somthing

Anyways, good luck to all riding the argus, the wind is gonna be hectic, but still enjoyable non the less

Apparently violence isn't the solution. . . . . . .

It isnt.

A) I'm saying it would be fun

B) I haven't said it would solve anything.

C) This has no similarity in any way to the cyclist mess on Sunday

Try not to take something said in jest as part of an argument. It isnt remotely the same.

Any updates? When will the disciplinary committee convene, will it be open to the public, etc?

didn't see any riders with their kit on during argus - and they must have one of the largest membership bases. I guess they chose not to stoke the fire by wearing other outfits on the day

I watched this video over a dozen times, and I think I finally figured out.

  • Van driver stops suddenly as swarm of killer bees enter his vehicle (attacted to floral scented air freshner).
  • Concerned cyclists see van driver in peril and hasten to his rescue.
  • good samaritan cyclists attempt to chase bees away by fanning with bicycle wheel. shaddowboxing. and spraying with travel sized can of Target.
  • bees vacate the vehicle, leaving driver and cyclists to continue on their way.

So yeah... what's all the fuss about?!
