Mets Posted March 31, 2014 Share Nope With regards to the 26" spares getting harder to source. About three years back on the Sabie I stopped next to a guy with a puncture to offer a spare tube - he had a 29ner and I can remember thinking "sucker" at that time whilst putting away my unused spare - today you might struggle to get a 26" tube during a race. That's not an issue in either direction. a 26" tube can fit stretch to fit a 29er and a 29" tube can be used with a 26" tyre, yes there'll be a spot where the tube bunches/folds over itself. but once there's air in the tube, it'll expand as far as the tyre will let it. TK-Sp3cialiSt Posted March 31, 2014 Share https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/137811-what-size-wheel-is-on-your-mtb/ I have created a poll with multiple options selectable about ownership of which wheel size, allows for the options many were complaining about in this poll

patches Posted March 31, 2014 Share Yes x5 (although 3 of those are bikes where there is either no 29er equivalent, or it would just be a horrible idea. ie. Trials bike, 4X/Jump bike, and DH bike)
