Some people have no sense and just push the boundaries to get that "one" shot. Luckily for all it did not turn out for the worse... but whoever he is he needs to have a serious talking too!!

Reminds me of the Roof of Africa about 4 years ago and it's the start of round the houses. The head honcho of Lesotho's main ISP comes to check what all the fuss is about as he has part sponsored a couple of riders competing. He's armed with his handycam and decides to start taking some video as the bikes are all revving on the start line. It's the pro crew taking off in the first race and he's about 200m up the road. Start flag waves and they're off racing and Mr ISP decides to step off the pavement onto the verge of the road, bending down holding the camera low, watching the back screen of his camera as 50 of the world's best extreme enduro riders come screaming down the road. Yup, you guessed it, he got taken out so badly that he was lucky to live through the experience, but the irony is that the strongest rider in his sponsored team was the one who hit him and then flew over the bars and broke his collarbone landing on the pavement edge, whilst Mr ISP was all unconscious thrown back 5 + meters back into the adjoining pavement. About 5 guys went down in the melee.

People who do not know the speeds and dangers of the sport will always do stupid sh1te blissfully armed with their ignorance!
