The MTBer Posted April 15, 2014 Share Titan not bad specs but do you want to be seen on a Titan at a big race? Nothing against Titan don't like the brand. I know Titan is well priced en good sepced... Personal choice. Take both for a spin

PhilipV Posted April 15, 2014 Share have you looked.at the geometry of the two bikes?Go ride both, and decide based on feel and not.on paper. you will be racing the bike in the real world, not on paper.

Dorpie Posted April 16, 2014 Share Trust me there is nothing wrong with riding a Titan at a big race. I know for a fact that this weekend there was a Titan Team in the top 5 as well as myself finishing top 30.A bad sportsman blames his tools, MeridaHFS, SaKiwi, Vangar and 2 others

Francois Pienaar Posted April 16, 2014 Share I spoke to a guy (that works for Trek) at W2W and we were talking about brands. Merida is clearly one of the big 3 brands (Scott & Giant) the others, but what stood out for me was the fact that he noted that Merida has the lowest about of warranty replacements of ALL biking brands in the world. I've been riding Merida forever and can confirm that in terms of reliability they are simply ROCK SOLID. white tiger
SaKiwi Posted April 16, 2014 Share You can also consider the Merida Big Nine 1000 and Momsen AL529
SaKiwi Posted April 16, 2014 Share BTW, nothing wrong with a Titan. I would rather have a Titan with XT than a "popular" brand with crap group set dalem44, ScoobyWrx and Lexx
Steven Knoetze (sk27) Posted April 16, 2014 Share You can also consider the Merida Big Nine 1000 and Momsen AL529 +1 on the Momsen AL529. Francois Pienaar and PoiZoNouZ
