Not a one hit wonder.......fully licensed distributor/trader.

Of course problems will be dealt with accordingly, I already supply to some shops :)

A good product remains a good product. Guarantees and turn around times on hard to source items are better than any local shop mate.

Manufacturers guarantee true products regardless.

I take it back to the factory, put it on the engineer's desk and I ask for an explanation.

I live here, so whether local or not, support is there. I am well aware of the importance of a solid supply chain.

Anyway, it was a question, not an offer for sourcing.

I wonder why, you would think that the engineers will feed me BS?

As far as my experience goes, they replace whatever the product is. Pay for shipping if it is a manufacturer fault and then improve on the next run of product in the factory.

Again, the original post was a question. Not an offer of business.

I'll use my LBS for servicing and repairs and be happy to import components if it proves to be cost effective. If this will be an on-going affair there will have to be some due diligence. You one post status is largely irrelevant.

You joking?

No I would not. I support local business. It is tough to survive as a bike shop in SA. They need all the support that we can give them. They should not just be there for technical advice when we don't come right with our imported part. Support the shop, get the advice. Buy from overseas, phone them when you need help.

My LBS sell pinarello's
