I have to look for an oil leak over the weekend.

My whole left leg was full of oil this morning when I stopped at work.

Bike did loose power once, felt like a dirty carb, and then just picked up again.

Hi All

Anyone have any recommendations for fellows who are knowledgeable on electrical problems on old bikes along the Garden Route.

Secondly, any ideas where I may be able to get some coils for my 1995 FZR 1000. First choice is after market new ones then second hand original. (Just thinking that coils may be the problem)

Thanks in advance.

What bike is this?

It actually looks quite nice. I think though you wouldn't be riding it very quickly ;-)

are any of you using your bike chain lube on your bicycle?

Is it a good idea?

Why?

I use my bicycle chain lube on my bike if that helps...

hahah okay. I don't see a problem. MB chain works a lot more than a bicycle chain!

It is also a spray.

MC Chain wax can be a bit clumpy and gooey. If you do use it, maybe use it a bit sparingly (Although you are probably going to wipe the chain afterwards anyway)

I can't see any reason that it won't work.

I do! When I anticipate a really wet or muddy ride, I use the Motorex Bike lube.

Makes a bit of a mess of your drivetrain, but not so much that a good session with your regular chain cleaner can not sort it out.
