2nd pic from the top, show us the water buffalo please!!! (looks like a GT750 if I am not mistaken)

Honda 750 K I believe. I will find out when I get home next month. The fellow doing my bike is an air cooled Honda man.

Wish I could say I was doing the bike myself, but, too much time away from home.

You are right, can see the rocker covers up top.

Anyway nice bike.

Had a chance to get a KZ300 the other day but there were just too many questions. Couldn't start so that means you don't know anything really.

Also the weird Unitrac belt drive version which I am not a fan of.

Suppose at the right price it might still be an option just worry about parts availability of these older bikes.......

I like the older Hondas as there is very good availability of spares. David Silver in the UK is a Honda specialist. Sadly becomming quite a costly affaire redoing these old bikes. I recently looked at a Yamaha DT 400 2 stroke, was a great project bike, but I turned it down, just not home long enough to be thinking of doing it myself. For sure it would remain a basket of bits once pulled apart!

My semi-classic 1972 BSA B25 Fleetstar.

After trying for a number of years to obtain it from a close friend, I finally took ownership of her toward the end of last year.

She's in running / roadworthy condition, however, my long term intention is keep her in a rideable condition while fixing up the little issues along the way.

Currently it slips out of 4th @ around 85kph into what they call "False neutral", seems the cause is a weakend camplate selector spring, hopefully the new one arrives on the weekend from the UK.

List of things to be done:

1. Resolve false neutral issue

2. Replace head and primary drive gaskets (If its not leaking oil, its not British)

3. Repair the dent in the Fuel tank and oil tank

4. Recover the seat

5. Have a period correct number plate made for the front fender

Edit: Grammar

Had a horror of a day on the motorbike yesterday.

They stole the keys of my parents this past weekend near Warmbaths (out of the off road camper with a new notebook and a very expensive watch (hope my dad had insurance)

So had to bike from PTA to Bronhorstspruit, break into my parents house with the security firm looking on in disbelieve, get the keys for the bakkie, get on the N4 then N1 to Warmbaths, get the keys to the old people and get back to Pretoria.

Must say I have a small spot of sun burn where the jacket did not cover my skin, but heck it was hot out there yesterday.  So all in all about 300 km on the motorbike yesterday.  First time I have ever gone that distance on the bike.

Would not have been to bad, but I am a bit sick and have a torn muscle in my foot.  So the day was fun, but painful.

My pops had one of those. At the age of 7 I decided to strip the carb whilst he was away and proceeded to lose all the parts. He was not happy.

LMAO, this one has an aftermarket Mikumi carb on it so its fairly simple, trying to find an Amal to keep it original, but I would not let my 8yo near it, too may fiddly bits to go missing.

... And then you will start enjoying looooong rides [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41]

Think the whole reason why I had to bike to BHS and then to WarmBaths are part of the no joy in the ride.  But at one stage I ducked behind a truck to get into the slipstream to stand up and stretch a bit.  Tried it doing 100km with a head wind and it caused a little strain om my arms and decided to take the less windy stance.  Tried it behind the fols as well, but the Conqueror causes a very weird slip. there is not a lot of clean wash behind it.  Felt like riding in a very severe thunderstorm behind them.
