I emailed D2D and explained. Response was get a family member or friend to collect. No collection on Sunday morning. I'll be the guy racing without a number.

And that's what I don't understand, why cant we collect on race day, especially the registered riders, what admin problems does it present? This is one key thing that is putting me off of going to some races. Even if I can afford the entry, I cannot afford all the admin to get my numbers, this costs me mostly almost twice what the entry cost. And no organizer will ever give you a clear reason why.

Ok, rant off.

This is a long-standing problem. You can work it so you don't even need to collect. Just let me print a .pdf. I'll bet a sheet of good quality A4 paper is cheaper than the fuel spent. Can do the same for race numberplates.

Once again: "sorry we're out of goody bags, but had some this morning". How difficult is it to have the number of goody bags matching the number of entries. Rant over.

Shocked face (but not suprised)

So guys, just for the sake of interest, What was in the goodie bags?

Hi there. Would someone be able to answer me. I'm riding D2D tomorrow on my road bike, but yesterday got tri bars fitted. Can I race with the clip on tri bars - won't be using them at all.

Would just like to avoid the effort of taking them off and having to put them on again

No run ,no swim.

Edit : Most races don't permit them I think it is a CSA rule. Bottles at the back and sleeveless shirt is ok, if you don't mind the remarks.
