My kind of guy. Got rid of my mtb several years ago, and don't miss that dirty thing at all.

There's nothing like the feeling of being on a decent road bike, especially when the speed kicks up.

If only we could get rid of the careless arseholes in cars who are trying to kill us......

Especially when the only thing holding back enjoyment on your mtb is yourself. You come pip - your bad.

when you come to realise that MTB is great for its own reasons, pushing your boundaries on the endless balance between skill and fitness, going harder, higher and faster, and road is great for the endless pursuit and the ability to Go for hours and hours in the zone, pushing your cardiovascular capacities and ignoring your screaming legs - you'll be that much more fulfilled.

Right now, you're just claiming superiority based on your inability to do anything other than jeep track. If you'd have excelled at anything else on the mountie, you'd not have dismissed it as out of hand as you have.

Borrowed the wife's bike for the morning and headed out to Durbanville hills side of the world, what an awesome morning for a ride!! It just sealed the deal for me and proved that both MTB and road cycling are great in their own ways. The bike hunt continues!

Oh and a shot I got from one of the climbs...
