You run into a lot of problems and hick ups as you go along. There were also the odd argument and some frustrations. But yeah, good memories galore ! Not too many years ago it could be a daily drive if I wanted to. But now I have retired her till I got time to do some upgrades. Majority of the stuff has been bought already. Was so angry about that one. I wanted to get into historic racing. Found a old couple near me selling this 1969 mk1. I go see them, they were the only owners. The guy sommer tells me he feels bad asking R3000 for the car as he paid R750 in 1969 brand new. I said give me 30 min and I will have the cash for you. I then bought an 2 litre pinto motor from the UK(that's the class I wanted to race in) and the same day I got informed the motor had arrived and I could pick it up the car got stolen.
