Swift R838 stolen in Rondebosch

Hi Guys

 

My Swift R838 road bike was stolen from my room yesterday. It is quite a rare and distinct bike. It has a brilliant red, white and black paint job, integrated seatpost, SRAM red and easton wheels.

 

I realise the chances of getting her back are pretty slim but please keep an eye out.

 

Below is a picture of the bike taken sometime. The wheels are now easton EA90's and the bar tape is black not white. Everything else remains unchanged.

We think he (singular) was watching the house. Used a ladder to climb the roof into our courtyard whilst my digsmate was out. It was very targeted as he was in and out in under 5min and took nothing else

It is in my neck of the woods, will keep my eyes peeled! Might just drive over any shady character riding a Swift, so cannot promise to get bike back in 1 piece.

Mine also got stolen on Wednesday. Also one guy and in and out in 5min. I had a santa cruz and scalpel next to each other and he only took the one bike. Heard via Avron that some black guy was offering a Santa Cruz for sale to Andrew at some bike suspension shop in Woodstock.

 

I am going to do a flyer drop on Monday in Salt River and Woodstock with a photo of my bike and reward no questions asked. Hopefully some of the other skollies will rat this scumbag out.

 

Really would love to know where these stolen bikes end up.
