Not in his defense but on a more serious note.

I was in deep conversation with a doctor friend who told me they are finding more and more men, with low testosterone levels nowadays.

They reckon that the afters shaves and creams and pretty making stuff most men use today contains a lot of tea tree oils and and some others stuff that creeps in to these little bottles is one big factor of lower testosterone levels in men today.

This bodes well for those across at the shaving fred. Now they can bump it up in time for a race

"This lot has cried foul and tried to downtalk any mention of doping by claiming 'it's bad for the sport'. Bulldust. What's bad for the sport is doping, and a certain load of BS pros been at it for years. It's an open secret among people who race. Or used to race."

Read Christophe Bassons book - a clean break. It was not (probably still is not) the case that just "a certain load of BS pros" dope. Doping is far more wide spread in pro cycling then people care to realise. Fans should stop acting shocked every time you hear a story of beloved pro that doped.

How do you think these okes do the distances they do at they speeds that they do it at..... pure natural ability!? Sorry kids, time to exit the Matrix and see the wood from the trees.

What Wyatts guy was saying is a real issue for the general population, declining testosterone is a problem for middle aged guys (most of the guys here are over 30) Question is, at what point do you start supplementing it just to stay healthy? Suppose its that fine line between use and abuse. - Comment aimed at non cycling peeps, if you cycle and use, you are breaking the rules.

Mountain Biker Brandon Stewart Receives 2-Year Ban for Testosterone

Cape Town, 22 August 2014 – The SA Institute for Drug-Free Sport (SAIDS) announced today that

Mountain Biker, Brandon Stewart, has received a ban of 2 years for testing positive for the banned steroid, Testosterone. The sanctioned imposed on him is effective from 27 March 2014.

Stewart tested positive for the banned substance on 7 July 2013 during an out-of-competition test. The athlete had applied for an exemption to use Testosterone. The exemption, known as a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE), was denied by the SAIDS TUE Commission.

Khalid Galant, SAIDS CEO, explained that subsequently Stewart appealed against his Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) denial to the SAIDS Appeal Board. The appeal was not successful. The Appeal Board supported the TUE Commission’s decision that a compelling medical condition did not exist to warrant the use of the banned steroid, testosterone.

Galant explains further: “Stewart was afforded due process as outlined by our anti-doping code with respect to being presented an opportunity to file an appeal against a TUE denial before he was charged with a doping offence.”

Simple, testosterone is strongly linked to male libido. The day a man is dissinterested in (you know what) is the day I say ok, there is a problem, give him some hormones.
