I am going on his original statement where he said his doc prescribed the testosterone for his sadpandanitus, he then apparently informed SAIDS about it, but started using it before the TUE was cleared by SAIDS. Big mistake, since you are only exempt from using the prescribed drug from the date SAIDS says so on paper...not a day before. SAIDS then turned down the TUE, so really only has himself to blame. It was careless to start using it before. Nevermind the additional 6 months he got for not adhering to epic rules....again careless. Now this is if his version is the truth....

WTF we were mates through school. what a disappointment, you think you know your mates. until I get to hear his story I will sit on the fence. His Doc should have known better and so should his team manager. if you at the top level you don't put anything into your mouth that has not been approved

Did he not say that we was verbally given permission to use it by someone (a lady) from SA Cycling...I recall he made a post on the hub about it but tbh couldn't be bothered to search for it now

if you race for a living and you're prescribed a banned substance, you see if there is an alternative medication because you tell the doc "hey I'm big time, I cant take that" - if there's no alternative, you take a break from racing so you can get back to 100% health, be it mental or physical.

Fist the suspicion comes up, then everybody who says something about is threatened with "legal action" cue someone like that Els dude from twitter and Emma starts invoicing.
