Not through the normal process. Your only options are:

1 - Get a substitute entry from someone who is no longer wanting to ride and is prepared to give up their entry to you. (Watch the classifieds.

https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/category/35-event-entries/

A few come up from time to time, but your best bet is to ask if anyone knows someone in your friendship circles who is no longer riding and contact them direct. Saves you from having to watch the classifieds and hope you're the one who gets to respond first!). You will pay R430 back to the original entrant and another R230 to the Cycle Tour Trust to amend the entry with your details. Look up substitution on the cycletour website.

http://www.cycletour.co.za/enter/substitutions/

2 - See if you can get a charity entry from one of the charities that still have open spaces available. Expect to pay upwards of R700 for this entry, depending on whether they do other add ons, such as dedicated kit, etc.

You should be able to find something if you look hard enough!

Chaeli Foundation still have entries at about R750.00

are you still able to tow little people ? Do they need riders to tow the little people ?

I'm going to have enough trouble getting myself through 109km. Sure as hell don't need to tow anyone.

Maybe send me your cell number in case I need a tow. Hope your rates are cheaper than normal tow operators.

Is it even today? Do we know for a fact?

We’re releasing the Cape Town Cycle Tour seeding tomorrow, so look out for an sms or email.

Please ensure your contact details are up to date by logging into http://bit.ly/1zLgT4e

For newbies: Seeding is the practice of grouping riders with similar cycling capabilities together and implementing staggered starting times for these groups. This ensures that there are no bottlenecks on the route. Your seeding is determined by your finishing time in previous seeding events.
