NotSoBigBen Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Hope thats a clutch RD. Otherwise all the best with the upgrades. Why do you say that?
Spoke101 Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Why do you say that?Without a clutch derailleur you still run the risk of the chain jumping off.

Spoke101 Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Hasn't happened yet, maybe I'm just lucky ....... or a woos ????Hahaha. Depends on how hard you ride and the terrain. Tends to happen as the NW ring wears.
King_Crispy Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Built this a day or 2 ago. Just have to trim the brakelines. Looks beautiful, and weighs just over 8kgs. SS specific wheels and kitted with XT, sure is pretty
GreatGusto Posted December 26, 2014 Author Posted December 26, 2014 Don't know which LBS you using, but i've changed my bearings a few times and can always get them seperate, in fact i keep spare bearings in my garage for all the pivots the only kit i've had to buy is the BB and the only bearing i havn't been able to find is the bottom headset bearing which i strip polish and re-assemble every few months. If you look at the "there I fixed it" thread, I put up a seal fix for the bottom headset bearing. No need to look at the headset bearing so often after its sealed.
