Best deal for Garmin 510?

Anyone got any tips on the best deal currently going? Just the head unit - don't need the HR monitor etc.

All SA units sold include HR and cadence sensor, you can't get away from that anymore, it seems it's forced by Garmin locally.

 

Best deal in SA is EasyGIS / Matthew in Durban.

 

Otherwise I've found CRC always got awesome deals (I've bought 2 units from them, this way), even at the price listed, converted to R, add R110 for custom duties and then multiply by 1.14 to add VAT.

 

To get around the shipping cost, either wait 4-6 weeks, free shipping or go 4-5 days express, but that adds about R500 to the cost, easily made cheaper if you can get others to also order with you, other stuff, I might have someone looking to join on a CRC order, pm me if keen.

That's for a 500 not 510 as OP asks.

I do however think the 500 is sufficient and that the added features on the 510 is not worth the extra $$$

thanks all. I have the 500 now. Keen on the connectivity on the 510, esp live tracking via bluetooth sync with a cell fone, but actually not sure its worth it. Also annoying you have to buy the bundle...
