Hazardous segments on Strava must die!

Only if you cramp up and cant unclip in time. Saw it happen on Suikerbossie during the Argus.

Someone has flagged one of my favourite little climbs as "hazardous" on Strava! Straight road on tar! It turns out that there is no way to get this flag removed.Please comment on on this thread and upvote to try to get Strava to implement a fix.

I mailed Strava about this problem. One of the Welvanpas singeltrack descents was flagged by some idiot. They investigated and said they were leaving it flagged because it was a " high speed trail" . I kid not - this is your average singeltrack trail and slower than many others there.

 

They also claim to be making running changes to the flagging system but I haven't seen anything yet... someone did try and sue them for damages because a roadie died defending his downhill KOM, but Strava won the case.

Didn't they now change the flagging system so that you can opt to see the leaderboard of the segment if you click on a "hazardous segment waiver"?

 

But yes, it sucks that one idiot can spoil it for everybody, there should at least be 3 or 4 people flagging a section before it is considered flagged.

I just recreate the exact same segment again and put in the heading something along the lines of - "harden up"

Some guy flagged the First Descent on N Farm as dangerous. It was the only place I ever had a KoM, albeit briefly.

 

That stretch is about as dangerous as a flat level road...

If it were the hub, it should be 1000 flags before being flagged as dangerous
