Though not completely unexpected, the most dissapointing aspect of the Tour was Contador's uneventful Tour. Uncharacteristically uneventful. Even in years where he wasn't up to scratch we would at least see him try and attack. It felt as if in the last week he only sat on the leaders' wheels with nothing in the legs to try and attempt something.

It shows how hard the Giro is. It also gives you a sense that the sport is cleaner than what it was. Had he done the double it would've raised some serious eye brows, and rightfully so.

Considering how world wide the TdF is and how much money they must make for it, the teams do not much considering they are the ones that make the TdF what it is.  You only have to look at F1 drivers in comparison!

It sure was chilly out there on the Champs Élysées - not quite the summer's day.

What a Tour.

One could sense the race was neutralized as the bunch rolled by.

Still awesome to see them with my own eyes hey.

Greipel, I wouldn't have guessed he would take 4 stage wins.

His best Tour by far.

Chill a bit, ride our bikes and raise fitness for Spring, and start waiting for news about the VUELTA

That Richmond course suits Sagaaan well, even have some pave segments and definitely for the punchy rider: Would also suit Gilbert; Valverde and Greg vA and Kwia

Did you guys see the protester on yesterday.. on the very last lap.. I didn't at first but then saw a video of it.. Bloody hell must have been scary for the riders.

I caught a glimpse of this guy when we watched the highlights. Had to rewind 'cos I thought I'd mis-seen.

The policy at Le Tour is (wherever possible) not to give these guys any airtime, or even acknowledge them via the news etc afterwards, because that is exactly what they are trying to get. You can imagine that if any protestor got coverage, every protestor and his dog would be out on the course the next day.

Sometimes its unavoidable. Farmers putting hay bales in the road etc, that stuff is just too big to miss.
