Stolen Pinarello Spotted!! Stellenbosch Arterial

Well, I wear blue overalls, a hard hat and safety shoes at work, and that also is my attire (sans hard hat) when I cycle to work, and I own a Pinarello FP Quattro, which I purchased on a trip to the UK. Here is a link to the bike I purchased from the bike store in Chester, just south of Manchester: https://www.thebikefactory.co.uk/productdetails.asp?productid=68290

So, let us not be too hasty to judge a book by its cover?

What a load of bull.

Chester is not just to the south of Manchester...

I cycle to work in the morning wearing a bright red overall. Attempting to show the common folk that I am just as common as they are (Amandla! etc.) and of cause hoping that I will not be bike-jacked.

Maybe this guy feels the same, bit ashamed of the millions he made with the last BEEE deal and now attempting to relate with the riffraff by cycling to work in blue overalls but not willing to ride a Macro Special. :whistling:

For the PC folks out there. Have a look at the following:

First the PC version

Secondly the common sense version

So, I guess you would be O.K with been attacked on the road by a random stranger just because the PC brigade don't like to hurt someones' feelings?

(Grammar Nazis help would be appreciated, working off a frikken old and slow line that doesn't spell check)

Give the guy a snot klap.

Take the bike.

Report to SAPS that you have the bike.

When owner reports theft of bike they can come and collect.

Riding a Pinna in blue overalls - sacrilege !!

Morning snobs

Any luck in tracing the race number seen on the bike?

I'm not denying the reality, just pointing out that the assumption that blue overall / blue collar types cannot own an expensive bike is silly.

But seeing you brought it up, let's argue

Why not call a spade a spade and just say it how it was (an assumption) i.e. some coloured chap wearing blue from the township was spotted riding a bike he could never afford?

That's not arguing.

That's stating a fact, sans any BS.

What you are doing is arguing (like a kid, just for the sake of arguing)

Save it for Friday, then you can give it horns and get down and dirty with your comments

When I read the first page off this thread I knew how it would end up...9.99 times out of 10 someone riding a pinn in overalls does not know what he's on...and if he did he would have his blue's in a bag on his back and would be in kit. Stop being so Damn self righteous people and good on the op for calling a spade what it is

Sorry King but now you making assumptions and speaking toss.

You missed my point and probably never been a poor blue collar worker with an expensive hobby.

You guys are way to serious, lighten up or you are going to harden your arteries prematurely.

I have a blue shirt and I have expensive habits.

Does that count, or am I "speaking toss".

Is that a Dutchman way of saying that I'm talking ***?

Explain this ......

Because it's definitely not a clown riding a bicycle at a circus, there has to be a logical explanation.

Van can you help us out , because of my prejudice I assumed it was initially,  but after reading this thread I don't know anymore. post-24958-0-79347800-1414044161_thumb.jpg
