Raydek Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 OUTSURANCE and SANLAM +1 Sanlam Edit (woops, meant Santam) Have claimed a few times after falls for wheels, saddles, etc.. No hassles.... Interesting though... I added a dropper recently and upped the value of the bike to cover it, it took the value over R30k and therefore my excess went from R150 to R2500.. So left the value of the bike just under R30k and specified the dropped on its own, barely a difference in the premium and if I have to claim for a small part again the excess will be R150 and not R2500...

Thermophage Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I'm with Alexander Forbes...When I got the policy they were the cheapest and had the best terms and conditions I could find. i.e. cover the bike for transport and during the odd race....whereas others (at the time~2010) didn't cover these.
