LeTurbo Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Kiff! Yoh, I yearned for one as a lightie. I even tried to swop my 10-speed for one, but my folks put a kibosh on that one. Damn Killjoys.
Guest DieBees Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I will put that up against my wall once complete!
Ispeed_V Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 An icon of the 70's. You either had a Chopper or a black BSA. Me, the black BSA
BuffsVintageBikes Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I restored one about 2 years ago as well (purple), it turned out really well. Now standing proudly in my garage, considering doing the Argus on it this year. Check out the UK Chopper page if you need stickers etc, I got mine through a fella on there

Kenty Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 Hehe...flippen DANGEROUS bike the Raleigh Chopper...I had a bright orange GT SPRINT the one with the drop handlebars....lost my front teeth from the thing...front wheel used to wobble like mad at speed.... ...I think in the States they eventually outlawed the Raleigh Chopper ..coz they deemed the middle gear shift to be too dangerous...

DJR Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Testicle remover edit: 5 years late to the party with a post - I know! Better late than never Luckily I still have both, but I do have the scars to show from one of those unstable-at-speed monsters and I don't want one again no matter how cool they become.
