I like the ingenuity of the design, but I thing frame flex would cause the bearings to wear faster and would cause a lot of lateral movement of the wheel. Ill stick to solid axles.

Old Hubs those

Well at least it got the conversation going...how many people can honestly say they know how a hub works and why top end hubs are so damn pricey? To understand what favievb post you need to understand the basics

Unless the spacer or cone has a recess for a cone spanner, they will have a damn hard time locking that locknut .
