It's something we've considered, but I always lean to rather putting any (limited) budget towards a general kit subsidy for all. We're a pretty diverse community and only sponsoring a select few riders just doesn't feel right.

That said when we do get to the stage of having bigger budgets to play with sponsorship in general is something I'd like to look at more seriously.

Pick me pick me

What about having a members section where members pay for I dunno, maybe part would be discounted ,kit, entrance to races etc. You can have different provincial teams too. Where the WP kit would be a certain colour compared to GP

An exciting cycling related brand like "The Hub" should have no problem gettin some industry sponsors like distributors on board? Hoping it happens one day...

Maybe a Hub VA, VB and Elite Womans road team as well as a MTB team for single day and multistage races

I got the black/blue/white kit from a few years ago - did a very muddy 24-hour at Rietvlei resulting in a pair of shorts where the white is, um, no longer white. The black IMO is a better option, especially for the dirty side of riding.

sponsoring of the back markers should be mandatory ....

Agree totally, a 60 sec TV add costs far more than a 30 sec one, by my reasoning someone who finishes a race as a back marker gives more exposure, therefore more value for money

Pick me, my cycling CV and race history will stand up to scrutiny.

Was that the first Riet 24 ?
