I've done the Argus a number of years and it takes alot of work to pull off something of this magnitude. Sadly some folk will try every bit to make some extra cash even its against the law!Â
Shebeen Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I agree that as a charity event you shouldn't be profiting from a scarce resource, BUT **every single year there are loads going once it gets closer to the time. they get given away for free.**this is a nice idea to outlaw, but IMPOSSIBLE to monitor in a free economy. if there's a huge demand for something and supply is limited, the price goes up. if you try ban people profiteering off it then they just circumvent it by selling  A BOX OF SMARTIES for R3000* *(comes with free argus entry)

hugobee Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 it happens all around the world for lots of sporting events(against the rules as well)i met a guy in malaysia who travels the world buying and selling all sporting event ticketsfrom motorsport to soccer and nflits called the black market....if u want buy if u don't than simply dontit will always happen and there are always people who will support the black marketunfortunate for the guy who decides last minute ...u have to pay the price its a hard knock life
