If they're low mileage and clean*, then what's the problem?

*of course if it's Emily Batty's used bibshorts then cleaning them will reduce the value singinficantly.

Look at this scenario: Your brother or best friend has a pair of Assos bibs which he bought 3 weeks ago, but suddenly he quits cycling or dies.

Now would you wear the bib then? (and tell your brother to shove his R2K bib)

And I'm not talking about buying someone 1989 Speke bib either, a propper bib.

I donated 10 used kits to Jacaranda Children's Home. The kids were very thankful. Maybe we are spoiled, we could have been in their position.

How big are these kids that they fit your kit?  :whistling:  :whistling:

your previous comment made my day! My girlfriend gave her old mtb shoes to the spinning instructor 1.5 years ago and he still wears them with a big smile. Een se dood is n ander se brood.

This has brought back some really dodgy memories about my days playing cricket in school where there weren't enough ball boxes to go around, so they were passed between batsman leaving and entering the field.

Never seemed to phase anyone back then.. Simpler days...

and then you got to about u12 and you had to check for curlies before putting them on....

The worst kit to share ever is hockey goalkeeper kit. that should really be incinerated each year and start afresh.

Vetseun told me how they did the same thing.

Batsmen going in already had his gloves on, so the batmen going off the field would put the box in for you

I worked for a week as a bike messenger in vancouver.

You used used bibs, as it was sort of a trial but you had to be in their kit.

Why only a week? Was it the rash?

no. it was a summer job. Everyone wanted to be a bike messenger and there was only so many parcels to go around. You did it more for the lifestyle than the cash.

plus I didn't really know the city so got lost a few times which just bumps you down the order. moved onto pedicabs/bicycle taxis and harbour cruise boats instead which was good cash.
