How do you hit a car that hard and ride away, the bike must have surely been quite badly damaged? Nonetheless, if he did it an just rode away, he is an arsehole.

Cars these days are so soft that it probably acted as a fluffy cushion, except maybe the rear screen. I only have to fart next to my Fortuner for it to get a dent in the body. PS. You will probably find the Shell V-Power cycling kit on the rubbish dump by now.
