JJDT Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 @Rob we would start as normal in Steyn City but turn left to get on the N14 ride back towards Krugersdorp off at Malibongwe into Steyn City...Plan B. Plan B Only one way or perhaps close the N14 as per previous years but close one lane and do a turn around on the offramp and back again...Plan C

Then race 30,000 people race around this new giant track together at the same time in a 200 lap omnium race. Last person standing wins.

Imagine you are at the top of the loop and you get knocked down? You'd take out 1000 people on the way down. 200 laps? You'd have a winner after 10
TALUS Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 One word: Traffic. They NEED a plan. I am in. Will give Hell and Back a miss for a double lap. The MTB is MUCH better than before. Proper race (for the masses).

A special message to all the A**HOLES who, on the N14, decide to shove in from the emergency lane and right hand lane as they get to the off-ramp. I honestly pray you crash your cars and miss the race.... YOU ARE THE TRAFFIC DELAY!! YOU CAUSE THE K@K!! So if you are guilty and reading this, Thanks for causing me to start 2hrs late as I sat for nearly 4 hours on that damn highway and thanks for ruining thousands of others race day too!! WAIT YOUR TURN! You are not the only ones on the road that day, not the only riders. Don't be A**HOLES, You give cycling a bad name. Rant done. Lets hope everyone plays nice on the highway and makes it to their start batches on time! Lets make it an awesome one guys!
